If Windows warns you when installing
3DX Phone is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC.” That is expected for a small indie app: the file comes straight from this site. Click More info, then Run anyway to continue. A signed build is planned, which will remove this warning.
Before you install
Close old 3DX Phone instances before updating. Machine-wide installs may ask Windows for administrator approval.
What it touches
The app opens its own always-on-top window. It does not patch, inject into, or replace 3DXChat files.
How it updates
The phone checks for new versions and installs them for you. Apps come and go through its App Store.
